today, while checking the situation on my portfolio on forex, i discovered that on both mt4 and mt5 trading platforms (demo accounts) some of my positions had changed. before blaming anyone i consider the first time to be my own error.. highly unlikely though. as a habit of a programmer in avoiding mistakes, after each trading session i do at least double check that all the orders are placed correctly — that all my selected currencies are busy and that the polarity (buy/sell) is correct on each currency pair. today i noticed that some currency pairs are vacant (no positions) and some are with wrong polarity. too bad. i need to begin doing triple checks after each trading session. will see. i don’t want to become paranoid, to begin taking screenshots, but when the issue repeats then i will have to do this.
so far i manage to stay on the same level, waiting for higher volatility periods – which technically means i overcome spreads, simply not making profit right now.
