Australian scientists cure dog of dementia with stem cell therapy

Scientists at the Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney appear to have successfully cured a dog of dementia via stem cell therapy.

It is the first time in the world that the operation has succeeded and hopes are high that the procedure will now continue to a human trial.
